Besides being a husband, father of four, and grandfather of nine, Dr. Bryant has reinvented his career several times. He served 13-years as a pastor, where he studied under Drs. Walter Martin and John Warwick Montgomery. He then pivoted to education where he served as a high school teacher, coach, Athletic Director, Principal, and Academic Dean for over 25-years. Pivoting again to higher education, he served as adjunct faculty in the Computer Information Systems and Quantitative Methods department in the McCoy College of Business Administration at Texas State University. Afterwards, he served as an Instructional Designer at Alamo Colleges. Then most recently, he serves as the Director of Educational Technology at the United States Air Force Academy.
Academically, he acquired a B.A. in History from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). He also acquired Composite Social Studies certification from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). He earned an M.A. in Education with Leadership concentration also from UTSA. Around that time, he also acquired an Assistant Principal certification from TEA, and Principalship from ACSI. He earned a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) with Distance Education concentration from Regent University. His research is in the field of technology-mediated education where according to the literature, he was the first to quantify and predict the likelihood of successful completion in Massive Open Online Courses using Machine Learning and Big Data.
As Dr. Bryant once again pivots, he inculcates the wealth of these varied experiences to consult and write. His essays and presentations provide a unique perspectives on technology, education, history, and philosophy from a Christian theological and apologetic perspective.
