4. Adjust Your Browser Settings

BROWSER:

  1. Test your browser’s security by going to Panopticlick.
  2. Make your Home landing page as  DuckDuckGo.com
  3. Install HTTPSEverywhere extension in Mozilla.

5. Add a Password Manager Extension to your Browser

6. Create a More Secure Email Account

1. Activate 2 Factor Authentication
2. Create a “secure” email for just finances, confidentials, and close friends. Consider Protonmail (Switzerland), Hushmail (Canada), Tutanota (Germany)
3. Use end-to-end encryption
4. Install the Mailvelope extension into the Mozilla browser, and make sure of added encryption, if it is highly confidential. To learn how to use Mailvelope, click the icon.

7. Inventory your Passwords and Improve their Security

Consider which password manager you should use and install it into the browser or onto the computer.
